About the Role
The Data Analyst reports to the Director; Data and Solutions Architect and must have the knowledge to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues at all levels in the organization. The Ideal candidate will take on responsibilities such as the overview of data validation and scrubbing between in-house central SQL server database or other third-party sources.
Responsibilities
- Manage/Create daily batch job schedule, debug and rerun failed jobs
- Take ownership of issues by carrying out problem analysis to implement temporary or permanent fixes with the aim of restoring service to an employee as soon as possible; escalating incidents to other support teams where necessary
- Keep procedure manuals up to date
Qualifications & Skills
- Troubleshooting and failure resolution skills is a requirement
- Experience with Bloomberg terminal is a plus and Extensive understanding of RDBMS
- Proficient with Microsoft Office with advanced knowledge of Excel
- Familiar with portfolio accounting practices, reporting, and trading
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer service orientation
- Ability to prioritizing and resolving user requests in a busy work environment with frequent interruptions
- Self-starter, able to work under minimal supervision with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Team player with a positive attitude who has a solid knowledge of database design and writing SQL Server queries, view & stored procedure,
- Availability for occasional off-hours or weekend tasks
